You remember being at that young age, don't you? When your first glimpse under the tree was a moment you waited for all year long. And seeing your name on a present meant someone cared... because that gift was just for you.

That's what Toys for Tots is all about - letting kids know they're cared about and important. And, while Christmas is just one day, that feeling and those memories stick in the minds of those children - even as they grow into adults.

So please, don't wait another day to give a less fortunate child a reason to remember the feeling of hope and joy on Christmas morning.

It's been a difficult year for many families and requests for assistance are coming in record numbers.

Local business leaders play a key role by allowing us to locate collection receptacles in their stores or place of business; by sponsoring toy fund raising events and by helping us receive maximum media exposure for Toys for Tots.
